I purchased the ACHPN review course last year in preparation for the exam to start studying and preparing.  The course is extensive and thorough.  I found it very user friendly and just overall very educational and informative.  It has every topic possible and is done in a way that makes it easy to comprehend.  The course provides interactive questions during the sessions that are pertinent to the topic you are reviewing. It has major points and does a great job identifying the valuable lessons needed to work in palliative and hospice care.  I have enjoyed working through this course and I have found it so beneficial to my knowledge base and my learning experience.   The course also provides a huge amount of CEU’s as an added benefit.  I believe this course is all that I need to prepare for the exam.  I have really enjoyed working through this course. The test bank questions are numerous and provide a great overview of every possible topic.  The price of the review course is acceptable as well.  For data provided and the amount of opportunity to review and learn, it is a great value.  On an added note, the response time of the team has been exceptional.  If I was having an issue, I would email them and I had an answer if not the same evening it would be the next morning.  Zach has been the contact person, and he has been wonderful to work with.  He has gone out of his way to help me in whatever way that he can.  I needed more time, and we were able to come up with a solution that allowed me more time to work through the program. It is very comprehensive so I recommend starting early as soon as you purchase it because it will take a while to get through the course and test bank questions. There are over 900 questions included with additional exams as well.  I am going to continue to review this program to prepare myself for the exam.  I highly recommend this course as a preparation for the ACHPN exam.  It has been a wonderful experience working with this program and their team.

As a faculty member for the Healer’s Art Course at UCSF, Dr. Wagner focuses on end-of-life and palliative care, sharing his extensive knowledge with medical students. For the past 15 years, he has been a physician facilitator for Schwartz Rounds, promoting discussions about the emotional challenges of patient care. Currently, he provides inpatient palliative care consults at Sutter Health and continues to teach residents. His work is complemented by his training in guided imagery and integrative medicine. In his spare time, Dr. Wagner, a black belt in Aikido, has trained in martial arts for thirty years.
